I’m stuck on a lab, what help can I seek?

    Hi there! Our labs are designed in a way as to challenge the user with increasing levels of difficulty, and sometimes you will get to a point where you are unable to complete the lab, but there are some options open to you which may help:

    • You have this community where you can reach out to peers and other users to ask for advice (not answers) on the lab to see if anyone has any hints or tips.
    • If you are struggling with knowledge we do recommend further reading on subjects and if you reach out either here in Community, or to our Customer Support team, we may be able to suggest additional resources to help you.
    • If you believe your answer is correct, but the lab isn’t accepting the answer, let us know! We welcome all feedback, and are always looking to enhance our labs by improving the signposting within labs or increasing our answer pool when appropriate. Remember, you will need to provide your workings, the steps you have taken, and screenshots of the lab so that we can check this with our lab content team.

     

    The labs have been designed by our industry leading content team of cyber experts, which we test and update regularly, but sometimes bugs happen! If you think there is a bug or issue with the lab, you can contact Customer Support, who can help with labs in the following ways:

    • If you believe the lab to be broken, they can test the lab to confirm that it is functioning as intended and can be completed, or let you know if there is a genuine bug.
    • They will only provide hints if they can see that you are close to the correct answer, or it is clear where you have gone wrong from your steps taken. In these circumstances, we can offer limited guidance to help you get back on track.
