How do I follow content that I am interested in?
Can I follow content to ensure I never miss an update?
Following (subscribing) to content and places ensures that you will never miss an update on the topics or the content that matters to you most as the community will notify you when someone posts to a board or replies to your question.
You can follow forums and blogs. You can even follow a specific post or a tag applied to a post.
Note: When you follow a board or tag, you will be notified by email when a new post is created on that board or with the tag.
To follow a piece of content:
- Go to the item you want to follow.
- Click the bell icon at the top of the page.
To follow a tag:
- From a particular post with a tag, click on the tag to filter for it.
- Click Follow.
Note: One thing to know about tags is that they are applied at node level. Thus, tag subscriptions exist only at the node at which they are applied. For example, if you follow a tag named “GETTING STARTED” in the Community Forum, it doesn’t automatically subscribe you to the “GETTING STARTED” tag in the Help & Support Forum. You must follow twice, once for each forum.
To view and manage your follows:
- Go to My Settings > Follows & Notifications to see a list of the items you've subscribed to. You can click a subscription to go to the item.
- To delete a subscription, click the three dots next to the subscription and click Unfollow.
