Immersive has opened a Bristol-based job opportunity for a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer within our Cyber team! So, if you’re looking to launch your career into cyber, this is a fantastic opportunity for you. If successful, you’ll write content for labs on our game-changing platform; these will focus on IT/computing and defensive cyber, and you’ll be provided with supportive mentoring from our experienced and dedicated content engineers and the wider Immersive team. How to apply This opportunity is for Cyber Million users – all you need to do to apply and be considered for this role is to have completed the Defensive Security Operations career path in Cyber Million. This is essential as it will demonstrate your skills and give you the knowledge of core Defensive Security concepts such as incident response, digital forensics, and vulnerability management. If you’ve already completed this career path, then great, you’re good to apply! If you haven’t yet, register for Cyber Million and complete the career path to apply for the opening. If you're completely new to cybersecurity, you may wish to complete the optional Fundamentals Pathway first. Once you’ve completed the career path, you can formally apply for the role here. The closing date for applicants is March 31st 2025, with interviews taking place the week after, so this gives you plenty of time to work through the required labs. If selected, the first stage is an interview with our Talent Partner. If successful, you’ll then be interviewed by one of our Cyber Team managers and one of our experienced Cyber Engineers. Hi - I was wondering about the jobs available after completing the labs. I've been a support engineer for five years now, most recently a senior engineer at a Silicon Valley MSP. I've already earned a one-year college Cybersecurity Networking certification from a community college (with a 3.9 GPA) and the Security+. Can someone give me an idea of potential companies?
