Digital Forensics: File Carving

Hi there,

I was just wondering  if somebody could please direct me in the correct direction for Q3. The configuration files are stored on my home directory but when I input the command as on my screenshot nothing seems to happen...making me think there must be something incorrect in my command.

    What happens if you put "-o /home/iml-user" or "-o ~"?  I'm not sure "home" works, but I'm no Linux expert.

        😅 I might not be seeing right, but are you now typing "foremost-q" instead of "foremost -q"?

        Also, not sure you need to even specify the output folder. It would just output into the current folder without that option, perhaps.
